I first got 1 for her - Skipper, thought she won’t like it. I was wrong. Since that day, she kept on reminding me that we should get more of those toys from McDo. She has suddenly switched from being a Jollibee to McDo lover haha!

As of this day, we got all 8 characters, but you know what the Lion is nowhere to be found in the house. Yeah! In just less than 24 hours after completing them, it went missing *sigh*. Finders keepers time tomorrow!

Good Answer!

This was how my conversation with my daughter went last night:

Me : Please Derelle…. go to sleep now. Mama has to work.

Deye : I will watch you lang.

Me : Okay, but you have to behave and should not touch anything.

Deye : Opo.

Few minutes later, her hands were slowly touching the keyboard….

Me : What did I just tell you? Don’t touch please? Do you understand? Or not?

Deye : *Looking at me - frowning*

So I thought, talking to her in that manner at that moment won’t work. I thought of something else. I remember when I went to Manila last Saturday, she was asking for a dress and pair of shoes. I managed to get her a dress but not the shoes. So I told her

Last night while I wasd Plurking, my daughter was seated beside me, and she suddenly said:

Deye : Mama, Mama, I said, I said bye to Lola Baleng.

Me : Who? What?

Deye : Lola Baleeeeenng *stressing on the name*

Me : When?

Deye : Last night ngaaaaa. *she would normally say “last night” when it’s past*

Me : Where?

Deye : Here, in the house….

Me : *I had goosebumps. The Lola Baleng she was talking about was my late maternal grandmother.* Are you sure? I asked her again where did you see her?

Deye : In the picture. Lola Baleng…. Di ba? Di ba? When we went to momorial last night. *She still can’t say the word memorial LOL!*

These days, my daughter wants everything that she sees on TV ads. And right now, she’s very much engrossed watching the new TV ad of Selecta family pack endorsed by Carmina and family, where a part where the little girl said at the end of the ad “Sarap ng weekend!

This morning, while I was checking my mails, my daughter came running to me and said:

Deye : Mama, I want weekend!

Me : Huh??? What’s that?

Deye : In the TV, she said… she said…. “Sayap ng weekend”, I want weekend Mama, masayap!

Me : LOL! She thought weekend is something edible kasi masarap hahaha!
