It has been our routine to go to the mall at least 2x a week on a regular basis. Not to shop but to let my daughter enjoy the rides that she couldn’t get over with. But today was a little different coz she was not wearing her diapers the whole time we were out.

Me : *asking my mom* Lagyan ko kaya syang diaper?”

My mom : Wag na, nagsasabi naman eh!

Me : Eh kung biglang maihi na walang CR na malapit, alangang paupuin sa gilid?

My mom : Bahala ka…. pero nagsasabi naman na, hindi yan… *my mom was consistent not to put her diaper on*

My little girl is doin’ good so far. Today is the 6th day of our serious potty training with diapers at all during daytime. She did well today, I didn’t have to check on her once in a while. She tells me if she needs to go to the toilet. This time she uses the detachable potty seat that my former office mate gave.

I’d say she’s getting used to it already. Before she slept, my mom took her to the toilet to see if she’d make wee wee. She did and even refused to wear a diaper in her PJs. We convinced her that we’d try that later on. But after sometime, she again told me “Mama, wee wee! I want to go to bathroom” I said it’s okay you’re wearing a diaper. She listened but sat down with her diaper on hahaha! And told me “Mama, wash na!!”

I hope and wish that in another 2 weeks, she’d be totally a diaper-free baby. Is that too quick?

Yey! No diapers for her since yesterday and I think she’s doing fine, we’re doing fine. It really takes patiences to let it happen.

Remember when I said we started with our serious potty training, here and here? Unfortunately, it ended so soon. Actually my way was wrong. I told her to tell me when to pee. It should’ve been from my side. I should’ve monitored and asked her once in a while if she wants to pee. Since she’s used to wearing diapers, she pees whenever she wants too and when that happens she tries to hold it simply bcoz she’s not wearing one, but only a panty. She had a mild UTI so I decided not to force her and wait till she’s ready.

I guess it’s happening now… She’s finally free from wearing diapers during daytime. Good start eh?

Last week, I lost my last P20 credit in my cellphone. My daughter happened to send a blank message to my friend who is in Japan. When I saw her clicking and clicking on my CP, I tried taking it back from her, but instead she threw it towards the wall. Huwaaaaaaaaaah!

So I thought, giving her a cellphone would work and she’d never touch mine again! I, then gave her my extra cellphone. An old one. Very old one and it’s dead! She was so happy about it! She would carry it all the time with her around the house and keeps in her bag whenever we go out. Text addict in the making huh?

Anyway, this morning, I saw her taking the cellphone under her pillow. Hahahaha! It’s because, that where I also keep my cellphone at night. :D LOL!
