Every morning, she sees me drinking coffee and I tell her it’s coffee. Yesterday, when I asked her what was I drinking, she said right away “cuk-fee” hahaha! Seems like she combined coke and coffee!

Last night, whileI was sitting on the left side of our bed, she tried pushing my leg so she’d get to sit where I was sitting. She told me “move” but I ignored her. But she wouldn’t give up. While she was trying to push me from where I was sitting, she keeps on saying “si me, si me“. As I wasn’t sure of what she was saying, Then I told her “excuse me“, that was just a guess, as what I’ve understood from “si me“. Well, I was right, she meant excuse me and she repeated the word “si me“. Hahaha!

Putting a child to sleep could be a nightmare, especially when you have to be at work at exactly 9am the next day.
Since she was born, I made sure that proper sleeping habit and schedule is followed. Lights are turned off at exactly 8:30pm. If I have to carry her like a baby until now, I still do just to keep her still.
But few months ago were different. She’s been hooked to her fave educational TV shows and books. I had noticed her fondness to only four things:
- Barney’s theme song
- Rock-a-bye-baby song
- In My Room (from Happy Feet soundtrack)
- Baba Black Sheep
Because of that, I helped her create familiar names related to the above songs as:
- Barney
- Baby
- Mabush (as how he refers Mumble in the movie)
- Baba
As I put her to sleep, I usually ask her “Do you want Mama to sing for you?” Instead of nodding or simply saying yes, she’d say any of the above names depending on her mood.
